Professional Summary

Dr. Zhihong Xu has extensive experience in teaching and higher education. Her research focuses on the use and impact of educational technology and research data management, particularly in relation to student learning and educational practice in higher education. More recently, her work has expanded to explore how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and data-driven innovations, shape learning, decision-making, and practice within food and agricultural systems. Dr. Xu serves on the editorial boards of Humanities & Social Sciences Communications and the Journal of eScience Librarianship. She is also an affiliated member of the Food Security Research Center at Prairie View A&M University.
