Professional Summary

Amber Kearney is a Ph.D. student in the Texas A&M University Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications (ALEC). She was an Agriculture Teacher for two years, shaping and inspiring students in Agriculture and FFA. Her research and teaching interests lie in agricultural student leadership and global agriculture. Amber Kearney is also a Teaching Assistant in the ALEC Department as well as a research assistant on a USDA-funded grant. She considers herself a lifelong learner and wants to equip youth with leadership skills in agriculture while promoting global exchange of agricultural knowledge. Kearney hopes to develop relationships with farmers, stakeholders, industry leaders, etc. while maintaining resources by securing funding through grants and scholarships to enhance the agricultural world.
