Brian Halfman is a Ph.D. student in the Texas A&M Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications. He also serves as the Director of the AgriLife Ethics and Compliance office. The office provides a wide array of compliance services for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, AgriLife Research, AgriLife Extension, Texas A&M Forest Service, and the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. Before joining AgriLife in 2022, Brian served the State of Oregon for nearly 20 years in various compliance roles carrying out investigative, regulatory, occupational safety and health, and management functions. While pursuing his doctorate, he plans to focus research efforts on ethical leadership.
