Khalilur Rahman Faysal is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications at Texas A&M University. His academic and professional journey bridges agricultural science, communication, and leadership with more than a decade of experience in higher education, agricultural outreach, and media-based community engagement in Bangladesh.
Before joining Texas A&M, Faysal served as Deputy Director of Public Relations and Publication office and Agricultural Statistics Department at Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh where he led initiatives in agricultural communication, innovation, and public outreach. He has also founded several award-winning social and cultural organizations that use storytelling, filmmaking, and digital media to promote agricultural awareness and social inclusion.
His research interests focus on science communication, digital storytelling, and rural innovation systems, exploring how narratives, media, and participatory communication can bridge the gap between science and society. Through his work, Faysal seeks to advance inclusive, sustainable, and knowledge-driven agricultural systems that empower rural communities across developing regions.
