Professional Summary

Scott Cummings, Dr.P.H. is a professor in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications. He currently serves as the Associate Department Head for Graduate in the department. His Extension program focuses on program development, employee development, community engagement, and leadership programs. His work over the years has been community focused in Texas, the nation, and globally. Dr. Cummings is as maroon-blooded as they come. He has not missed a home football game since he began school as a freshman in 1981. Dr. Cummings is married and has two children. His son is a professional truck driver, and his daughter is a teacher. His wife, also Class of ’85, is the CFO for Texas A&M Agrilife Research. Their hobbies are pretty much everything Aggie sports related and camping.
