ALED Emphasis Area/Required Minor

Students entering ALED prior to Fall 2014

The ALED Emphasis Area is made up of 12 hours of customized coursework related to the students career goals. Students must discuss the Emphasis Area with their Academic Advisor. Six of the 12 hours must be upper level (300-499) classes.

Required Minor

Students entering ALED after Summer 2014

Minors are 15-18 hours and require approval of the minor granting department. There are a few exceptions. Students must visit with their Academic Advisor to review minors and submit the appropriate paperwork.
