Professional Summary

Seth Jordan is a program coordinator at the Hazard Reduction & Recovery Center and a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agriculture, Leadership, Education, and Communication at Texas A&M University. His research interests lie in the intersection between informal/formal advocacy and agriculture and climate change policy. He currently works alongside sociologists, urban planners, and many other disciplines to advance community resiliency. Seth currently works on multiple funded projects within communities of high climate risk, helping researchers in their efforts to make the world safer and more resilient place. He also believes youth should be at the center of policy advocacy, as they are the next emerging agents of change. Through this work and research, Seth hopes to uplift people who want to voice their experiences and perspectives to influence federal, state, and local policy.
