Professional Summary
Meikah Dado, M.S. is a Ph.D. student and graduate research assistant in the Texas A&M University Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications. Her research interests are in international agricultural development, agricultural education, and dairy science. She is a graduate research assistant at the Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture where she works on the Africa Team. In her time at the Borlaug Institute, she has attracted over $1.5 million in grant programs, completed monitoring and evaluation efforts, and conducted a variety of other research efforts. She is a Graduate and Professional Student Government senator representing the ALEC department. Dado also assists in teaching an undergraduate course, ALEC 350-Global Agricultural Issues. Her background is in dairy science and agricultural education. Her current work provides insight into these topics, such as consumer perception of dairy products and evaluations of programs such as the International Agricultural Education Fellowship Program.
