ALEC Graduate Students Recognized in Borlaug Photography Contest

    By: Mollie Lastovica Orry Pratt and Kevin Fath, graduate students in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications have been recognized as winners of the 2012 Norman Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture’s International Experience Photo Contest. Gonzales, Rogers Recognized as Winners of Facebook Photo Contest

By: Mollie Lastovica After accumulating 25 likes on her album of five photos, Hannah Rogers, senior agricultural communications and journalism major, was named as the winner of the 2012 AGCJ 308 Facebook Photography Contest. “Winning the photo contest was very exciting,” Rogers said. “It means that my peers also enjoyed my photos as much as I had hoped them to. Agricultural Communications and Journalism Students Submit Photos for Facebook Contest

Sixteen agricultural communications and journalism students who were enrolled in AGCJ 308, Agricultural Photography, during the fall semester are now displaying their work via social media as part of the 2012 AGCJ 308 Photography contest. The contest, which is taking place on the ALEC Department’s Facebook page, features an album of five photos from each student’s collection.
