Sheppard ’47 Funds Endowment to Support KAMU-TV
By Caitlin Powers Frank Sheppard, Ph.D., ‘47 has gifted the department with an endowment to support AGCJ 409, television production for agricultural journalists, a course that teaches students to utilize and broadcast on the Brazos Valley public broadcasting station, KAMU-TV. Students with Livestock Background Receive Prestigious Scholarship
By: Mollie Lastovica Distinguished as the best in North America by the top livestock show supply company, two students in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications were recognized as recipients of the 2013 Sullivan Supply/Stock Show University Scholarship. With over 1,121 applicants from 45 states and Canada, Stephanie Lastovica, sophomore agricultural leadership and development major and Bethany Nolan, junior agricultural communications and journalism major, were among the 20 recipients of the $1,000 Sullivan Supply scholarships.
