The following faculty-led domestic “study away” trips expose students to the rich multicultural history of the United States and allow them to conduct field research and participate in personal reflection during the experience.
This course allows students to experience agriculture across the country en route to the National FFA Convention in Louisville, KY, one of several planned stops during the trip. Students examine the agricultural industry and reflect on personal growth as they witness the diversity of agriculture in our nation.
This 10-week program includes various stops along the West Coast (from California to Washington) that stimulate students’ attitudes on advocacy, outreach, diversity, and community engagement.
Texas Digital Storytelling Study Away
Students travel through different regions of Texas taking photos and video as part of a larger industry collaboration. Final projects are presented to these industry leaders to market and promote their brand.
