Global Case Competition

The Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications would like to wish three of our graduate students the best of luck as they compete in the Global Case Competition this weekend. Meikah Dado, Danette Philpot and Garett Brogan, along with a student from Mays Business School, will have 24 hours as a team to generate game-changing solutions for the UN Food Systems Summit 2021. Congratulations to Bethany Busa, McKenna Bush, and Tatum Hardy for earning the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Excellence Fellowship in Fall 2020! The purpose of the Fellowship is to recruit and matriculate top quality M.S. and Ph.D. graduate students, especially students that add diversity to the graduate program. This competitive award considers grades, academics, high impact experiential learning, demonstrated leadership, contribution to college diversity, and strengths of letters of recommendations. Stevens Initiative Awards Grant to Make Virtual Exchange Possible for Youth in Morocco and the United States

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences has partnered with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Morocco on a virtual exchange opportunity: ENGAGE: “Leadership in a Virtual World.” This connects students at TAMU with students at UM6P where they will engage in live discussions and work together on activities to develop and strengthen cultural competency skills. Future Institute Research Center Awards Jean Parrella $1,000 Scholarship
