Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service has hired Cory Phillips as a software engineer. Phillips graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in nuclear engineering.

“I first heard about this position from someone who already works here and the job description greatly interested me,” Phillips said.

Phillips will work on the development side of software and brings industry experience as a former applications and web developer.

“It is my job to develop user interface functionality for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, specifically the Texas Extension Accountability System,” Phillips said. “My biggest strength to this position will be a variety of experience and a desire to work hard.”

“My favorite part about being in the ALEC department so far is that everyone is friendly and helpful,” Phillips said.

Phillips is engaged to Sara Cousins.
