Having recently joined the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Organizational Development team as Software Engineer, Curtis Krajca is excited for what his new position has in store.
Krajca graduated with a master’s degree in computer science from Prairie View A&M following the receipt of his Texas A&M bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
As software engineer, Krajca will work with both the design and application of software programs.
“I will be primary software developer for the rebuilding of the TExAS application and any associated development projects,” Krajca said. “I will be responsible for designing and implementing the database architecture as well as the bulk of the back end application design and programming.”
Krajca brings to the table more than 10 years of experience in software development and over five years of experience in database design, development and administration. He is happy to be part of the ALEC department and to be back in Aggieland.
“The people are great to work with and the opportunities that are available are tremendous,” Krajca said. “This is a great place to live. It has that small town feel, but the university brings so many opportunities here.”
Krajca and his wife, Kierstyn, have four children, Elizabeth, Micah, Benjamin and Timothy.
