The Texas A&M Collegiate FFA chapter will be hosting Harvest Ball from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Sat., Nov. 10 at the Hilton Hotel in College Station.
“Harvest ball is CFFA’s first large social event of the reestablishing year,” said Tanner Kilpatrick, graduate student in the ALEC department and CFFA officer. “It is an event for members of CFFA, students of the university and the public to come and enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing and learning about CFFA.”
Tickets for the event cost $20 and are available from CFFA officers beforehand and at the door. The ticket includes admission, a fully catered meal, dancing and a live performance by the Jake Carr Band. There will be a cash bar available and a variety of door prizes given throughout the night including those from Grand Station and Benjamin Knox.
“Our goal was to have a grand event to really get CFFA started on the right foot,” Kilpatrick said. “We want to include anyone and everyone who is interested in attending Harvest Ball.”
The Jake Carr Band will take the stage at 9 p.m. and play until 11 p.m.
“Students should come to Harvest Ball, because it is a way to interact and network with other students within CFFA, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the university,” Kilpatrick said. “We are looking forward to the Jake Carr Band performance as well. We hope this will be a fun and memorable night for every person who attends.”
