While many students spend their summer soaking up sun, working or studying for summer school, two ALEC students are preparing to debut their athleticism on a worldwide stage. Kanika Beckles and Tabarie Henry will compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Both Beckles and Henry will run in the 400M track and field event. Beckles is a junior agricultural communications and journalism major. She will represent her home country, Grenada. Henry, an agricultural leadership and development senior, will run for the U.S. Virgin Islands.
