Graduate Programs

Texas A&M University is noted for its comprehensive graduate degree programs in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications (ALEC). Our degree programs prepare students for leadership roles in professional careers in agriculture and life sciences focusing in such areas as:

  • Agricultural Communications/Agricultural Journalism
  • eLearning and Professional Development
  • Extension Education
  • International Agricultural Development
  • Organizational and Community Leadership
  • Teacher Education

Should your interest in our programs reach the serious stage, we would welcome the opportunity to host your visit to campus and the community and have you interact with our faculty and graduate students. After all, you will be making a considerable investment of time and money in pursuing a graduate program, and we want you to be certain that you have made a good choice.

We offer five degree programs, four of which major in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications. The Master of Agriculture program majors in Agricultural Development and the Doc@Distance, a Doctorate of Education degree, majors in Agricultural Education (a distance degree program with Texas Tech University).
