 Non-Degree Admission Information (G6)

Under certain circumstances, an individual may be admitted as a post-baccalaureate non-degree seeking graduate student (G6). If admitted, up to twelve (12) credit hours taken in this status may apply to a degree program at Texas A&M-College Station. To apply, an individual must: 1) complete a post-baccalaureate non-degree seeking application; 2) submit the required application processing fee; and 3) submit a complete official transcript that indicates the completion of a baccalaureate degree (if other than TAMU). Applying in this status will not guarantee any admission to any department. Materials required for the department include:  1) submit a current resume; and 2) submit a statement of purpose. A faculty member must be willing to be your major professor during this admission status as well.

Only in unusual circumstances will international students be eligible to apply in non-degree seeking status. The application processing fee is $50.00 for U.S. Citizens and permanent residents.
