Prospective Change of Major
(Current TAMU Students)
Change of major applicants are students who are currently enrolled at Texas A&M-College Station.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Passed 30 credit hours at Texas A&M
- Completed/enrolled in 90 or less college credit hours
- Have a 2.0 or higher GPA at Texas A&M
- Be in good standing with the university (academic & conduct)
- Minimum C or better in any ALED or minor course
Application Deadlines:
Applications must be picked up from the University Studies Program Office on the following dates each semester: March 1st, June 1st, October 1st
Completed applications are due by 5:00pm on the following dates each semester:
April 1st, July 1st, November 1st

The application process includes you receiving official approval for your minors from the minor-granting departments. You will be responsible for contacting each minor department and completing their specific application process. Also, in your application essays, remember to address your interest in Leadership as well as your two minors.
You are not required to meet with the University Studies-Leadership Advisor prior to applying to USAL-LED, however it is highly recommended!
