Transfer Students
Students Outside of Texas A&M
Thank you for your interest in our major Agricultural Leadership Development (ALED). Students in this major gain an understanding of leadership, agriculture and life sciences, business, communications, and an emphasis area of their choosing.
Career opportunities for ALED graduates are diverse and vary on the student's interest. ALED provides students with technical, conceptual, and human relations skills that employers continually tell us they are seeking. To date, students who actively seek employment are finding placement in many highly profitable areas. Graduates from our program often choose careers in sales, agribusiness, AgriLife extension, communications/public relations, law & politics, lobbying for agriculture, farm/ranch work or ownership, co-ops, feed lots, real estate, international ag work, general business, and other relatable fields.
